Texas uses separate custodians for separate parts of a criminal history. The Callahan County Sheriff's Office keeps county booking and jail material. Clerks retain filed charges and dispositions. Texas DPS operates the statewide repository, while TDCJ and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry serve different custody and registration needs. We organize the official contacts, request steps, search portals, and documented fees so a reader can start with the office that actually holds the record.
